About The Position

Florida Rehabilitation Hospital at Tampa, located at Woodstork and Temple Terrace, is opening in February 2025. The hospital will have 60 private patient rooms and two rehabilitation therapy gyms with cutting-edge technology.

The Certified Nursing Assistant assists professional nursing personnel in providing patient care in an assigned area. The role assists patients with activities of daily living, provides personal care and emotional support, and performs more complex clinical skills under the direction of professional nursing personnel. Pay is based on years of experience and qualifications.

Requirements

• Complete a course for nursing assistants.
• Hold current Nursing Assistant Certification.
• Obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross; online certification is not acceptable.
• Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Have strong organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills.
• Have strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
• Be detail-oriented and able to meet strict time frames.

Nice To Haves

• At least six months of experience.
