Requirements
- Current on the Wisconsin Registry
- Ability to perform physical tasks typically performed in CNA work, including lifting up to 50 lbs
Responsibilities
- Caring for residents in a variety of ways primarily with daily living such as dressing, grooming, bathing, feeding, toileting, colostomy care, transferring, walking, prosthetic appliances, positioning, and range of motion exercises.
- Preserving resident dignity while providing individualized care.
- Keeping accurate records as required.
- Reporting any changes in the condition of residents to the supervising nurse.
- Assisting with specific tasks under the supervision of the nurse such as recording vital signs and weights, applying non-prescription creams/ointments, and collecting specimens.
