About The Position

The primary responsibility of this position is to provide patient care under the direction of the charge nurse and assist the nursing team in maintaining the nursing and resident units.

Requirements

• Certified Nursing Assistant Florida Certification.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Responsible, energetic, punctual, resourceful, very accurate and detail oriented.
• Flexible as to work schedule.
• Able to work under pressure and multi-task.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently AND as a team member.
• An enthusiastic and friendly personality that has aptitude for working with a variety of people.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides personal care such as: baths, showers, oral hygiene, skin care, hair care, fingernail and toenail care, monitoring fluid intake and output, toileting care, etc.
• Takes residents vital signs and blood pressure as indicated by nurse and promptly reports findings.
• Carries out all safety measures for residents and self in body mechanics.
• Prepare admission packets/supplies for new admissions.
