As a Certified Nursing Assistant, your role extends far beyond clinical tasks — you are a compassionate presence, an advocate, and a trusted partner in each resident’s care journey. From assisting residents with activities of daily living to supporting their health and wellbeing, your role will help maintain a safe and comfortable environment for the residents. Requirements

  • Current CNA license in good standing in Indiana
  • Long-term care experience preferred
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Compassion for serving older adults

Responsibilities

  • Prepare residents for the day or night as necessary by assisting with bathing, dressing, and activities of daily living
  • Take, read, and record temperatures, pulses, respirations, blood pressures, and weights
  • Monitor residents for changes in condition and notify the charge nurse in a timely manner
  • Respond to resident pendant calls in a timely manner and provides or obtains the necessary care
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
