Requirements

Current CNA license in good standing in Indiana
Long-term care experience preferred
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Compassion for serving older adults

Responsibilities

Prepare residents for the day or night as necessary by assisting with bathing, dressing, and activities of daily living
Take, read, and record temperatures, pulses, respirations, blood pressures, and weights
Monitor residents for changes in condition and notify the charge nurse in a timely manner
Respond to resident pendant calls in a timely manner and provides or obtains the necessary care
Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
