About The Position
Misericordia Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, a 5-star rated nursing home, is seeking talented and caring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) who value older adults to join their team. This is a weekend-only position, working every Saturday and Sunday from 3 am to 3 pm, with 12-hour shifts. The facility has been providing compassionate care since 1943 and offers a supportive environment with low patient-to-staff ratios. CNAs will help maintain high standards of care and serve residents with kindness, patience, and compassion.
Requirements
- Current PA Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA Certification)
- Genuine concern for the needs of older adults.
- Strong customer service skills with both internal & external customers.
- Must be willing to undergo a Criminal Background Check and Drug Screen.
Responsibilities
- Providing professional, compassionate care to residents.
- Maintaining a person-centered, homelike environment while following the resident care profile and care plan.
- Carrying out written, oral, and diagram instructions while meeting the total health needs of the resident.
- Assisting residents during mealtimes.
- Encouraging and motivating residents to participate in therapies and activities.
- Providing friendly, timely, and responsive customer service to all.
