About The Position
Benedictine is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA-NAR) to provide high-quality, compassionate direct care to residents. The role supports residents’ dignity, respect, and choices, and includes reporting changes in residents’ conditions to an RN or LPN and documenting care in the POC system. The CNA is expected to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks. Benedictine and its Ministry partners are a nonprofit senior care organization founded by the Sisters of St. Scholastica. The salary range depends on the position. A benefits package is available to eligible associates.
Requirements
- Must be in good standing on the State Nursing Assistant registry or appropriate entity.
- Must have good communication skills.
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
- BLS Certification.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct resident care.
- Report changes in residents’ conditions to an RN or LPN.
- Chart in the POC system.
- Demonstrate time management and prioritize tasks.
- Ensure residents are treated with dignity and respect and have choices within their lives.
