Assists in performing a variety of nursing care services for patients in a long term care setting. This role involves receiving patient care assignments from a registered nurse (RN), initiating delegated tasks based on competence, and collecting/documenting patient data. The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) contributes to safety and quality care by communicating with team members, monitoring patient condition, and assisting with various patient care activities. This position also involves stocking supplies, assisting with clerical duties, orienting new patients, and operating equipment safely.
