Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 3 months of hands-on experience in basic nursing assistant duties
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- Completion of all required in-services and trainings
- Must be 18 years or older (per Department of Labor regulations)
- Compassion and patience
- Strong communication and teamwork
- Dependability and professionalism
- A true desire to make a difference in someone’s day
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on, resident-centered care with dignity and respect
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
- Help residents maintain independence, confidence, and quality of life
- Build meaningful connections and offer emotional support
- Observe and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff
- Follow care plans and physician instructions with attention to detail
- Create a warm, safe, and welcoming environment residents can call home
