About The Position

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and may provide patient care and perform selected nursing procedures as defined in the Patient Care Standards Manual. The CNA transports non-controlled medications to and from the pharmacy and supports the nurse by coordinating special tasks and assisting where needed. The CNA collaborates with other members of the patient care team to provide care in accordance with the medical plan of care.

This position is on the Surgical Care Magnolia unit at Enloe Health, a Level II Trauma Center in Northern California. Enloe describes its care approach as compassionate, person-centered, collaborative, and supportive.

Requirements

• Current certification with the California Department of Health Services Licensing & Certification Board.
• Current CPR certification.
• Demonstrated technical competence, communication skills, and sensitivity toward hospitalized patients and their families.
• Ability to fulfill the essential functions of the position.
