About The Position

Georgetown Assisted Living by Axiom Healthcare Services is seeking compassionate, dependable, and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team. We currently have both Full-Time and Part-Time opportunities available for individuals who are passionate about providing exceptional care and enhancing the lives of our residents. As a CNA at Georgetown Assisted Living, you will play a vital role in delivering quality resident care while promoting dignity, independence, and well-being. Requirements

  • Current Kansas Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing.
  • Ability to perform physical duties including lifting, transferring, and assisting residents.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in assisted living, long-term care, or healthcare preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Compassionate, patient, and resident-focused approach to care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct resident care in accordance with individualized care plans.
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and mobility.
  • Monitor and report changes in residents' physical, emotional, and mental conditions to the nursing team.
  • Assist residents with transfers, ambulation, and positioning as needed.
  • Take and record vital signs accurately and promptly.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of resident care and observations.
  • Respond promptly and courteously to resident requests and call lights.
  • Ensure resident rooms and common areas remain clean, safe, and comfortable.
  • Promote resident dignity, privacy, and independence at all times.
  • Work collaboratively with nurses, caregivers, families, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional resident care.
  • Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and state and federal regulations.
