The #1 Priority of this position is…
To provide patient care under the direction of the charge nurse and assists the nursing team in maintaining the nursing and resident units.

Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent.
• Must have Certified Nursing Assistant Florida Certification.
• Basic math skills required.
• Must possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English.
• Responsible, energetic, punctual, resourceful, very accurate and detail oriented.
• Flexible as to work schedule.
• Able to work under pressure and multi-task.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently AND as a team member.
• An enthusiastic and friendly personality that has aptitude for working with a variety of people.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in long-term care preferred.
• Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides personal care such as: baths, showers, oral hygiene, skin care, hair care, fingernail and toenail care, monitoring fluid intake and output, toileting care, etc.
• Takes residents vital signs and blood pressure as indicated by nurse and promptly reports findings.
• Carries out all safety measures for residents and self in body mechanics.
• Prepare admission packets/supplies for new admissions.
