About The Position

Cypress Village is a 120-acre wooded lakefront community in Jacksonville, Florida, seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join their team. The community is managed by Life Care Services (LCS), a leader in senior living. Requirements

Current nursing assistant license (CNA) in the state of Florida
Current CPR certification or upon hire
Has the ability to read, follow written instructions, and document services provided
Is self-directed with the ability to work with little direct supervision
Is kind, reliable, and compassionate

Nice To Haves

Previous experience is great but not required
One year of C N A experience preferred
Current CPR and first aid certifications a plus

Responsibilities

Provide quality-nursing care to our residents
Assist residents with hygiene needs, feeding, bathing, and dressing patients
Measure and record patients' temperatures and blood pressures
Observe and record resident’s reactions to medications and treatment
Participate in the organization and prioritization of residents and unit activities
Ability to follow a plan of care set forth by the RN/LPN
Report pertinent information to the RN/LPN
Proper documentation of daily ADL's
Exhibits empathy, dignity, respect and concern for resident's well-being
