About The Position
Crystal Lake Healthcare & Rehabilitation is seeking dependable and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to join their night shift team. CNAs play a vital role in ensuring residents receive attentive, high-quality care throughout overnight hours, maintaining comfort, safety, and dignity. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a calm, focused environment and take pride in supporting residents during overnight care. As a Night Shift CNA, you will provide essential hands-on care while helping maintain a peaceful and safe environment for residents during overnight hours.
Requirements
- Active New Jersey CNA Certification
- Current CPR certification preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
- Solid communication and teamwork skills
- Understanding of overnight care responsibilities and safety protocols
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with nightly routines, including hygiene, toileting, and bedtime preparation
- Provide support with mobility, including repositioning and transfers throughout the night
- Monitor residents and promptly respond to call lights and urgent needs
- Ensure resident comfort and safety during overnight hours
- Observe and report any changes in condition to the nursing team
- Accurately document care and overnight observations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and quiet environment
- Follow all facility policies, procedures, and confidentiality standards
- Collaborate with nurses and team members to ensure continuity of care
