This is a Full Time Position in Med/Surg. The role involves monitoring, recording, and communicating patient conditions, performing delegated and ancillary basic nursing skills, and documenting care provided. The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, take appropriate action, and communicate clearly, honestly, appropriately, and in a timely manner with patients, families, and care team members. Accurate documentation of care and behaviors according to facility guidelines is essential. The CNA must respect patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA and facility guidelines, recognizing and reporting changes in patient condition. Demonstrating caring attitudes, behaviors, respect, equity, and empathy towards diverse and vulnerable patients is crucial. Knowledge of facility safety procedures is required. The position also requires a commitment to MRH CHOICE values, maintaining good working relationships, adhering to dress code, utilizing initiative, completing annual education and training, maintaining patient confidentiality, reporting to work on time, participating in performance improvement activities, upholding regulatory requirements, and following policies for infection control, safety, and risk management.
