About The Position
The Certified Nursing Assistant provides direct resident care and assists residents with activities of daily living while promoting dignity, independence, comfort, and quality of life. CNAs work closely with nursing staff and other team members to ensure exceptional resident care and customer service.
Requirements
- Current Iowa Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, assisted living, or healthcare settings.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
- Monitor and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff.
- Support residents with meals and hydration.
- Provide compassionate care while maintaining resident dignity and privacy.
- Promote a safe, clean, and comfortable living environment.
- Build positive relationships with residents, families, and coworkers.
- Follow care plans, safety protocols, and infection control procedures.
