About The Position

This is an On-Call Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) position with 12-hour shifts available on days or nights. The successful candidate must be available to pick up shifts on short notice and is required to work a minimum of 2 times per month. As a CNA, you will assist licensed care staff in performing a variety of clinical and technical tasks for residents, including assisting with activities of daily living, light housekeeping, dining/tray services, escort services, performing vital signs and weights, and other care-related duties. You will also participate in quality assessment and performance improvement activities and notify staff of resident changes of condition.

Requirements

Current state certification
Experience is required
Current CPR/Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certifications
Current First Aid certification or must be willing and able to become First Aid certified
Food handlers certification (where required)
Certified Medical Technician/Certified Medication Aide certification (where required)
Basic computer skills or ability to learn

Nice To Haves

Prior experience working with geriatric clients
High School diploma or GED equivalent

Responsibilities
