The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) will provide assistance with the activities of daily living, assist residents in preventive, therapeutic, and restorative nursing procedures, adhere to safety and infection control policies, communicate effectively, maintain resident unit and work area, promote positive public relations, and perform other tasks as required. This role involves providing daily hygiene measures, changing linens, assisting with feeding, taking vital signs, transporting residents, performing range of motion exercises, assisting with ambulation, and assisting with bowel and bladder elimination programs. The CNA is also responsible for maintaining a safe and clean environment, practicing standard precautions, reporting safety hazards, and participating in training. Effective communication, documentation, teamwork, and problem-solving skills are essential. The position requires the ability to handle multiple tasks, noises, and interruptions calmly, and to maintain confidentiality.
