About The Position

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) performs duties essential for providing excellent patient care, without requiring the specialized services and judgment of a registered or licensed nurse. This role is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and quiet environment to ensure patient comfort and contentment. The CNA actively promotes family-centered care and offers supportive care to patients across various units, with appropriate supervision and cross-training. Additionally, the CNA participates in performance improvement activities and collaborates with medical staff and other hospital personnel to support the care of adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED from an accredited institute required
  • Completed course of instruction from acceptable training school or equivalent training which prepares the employee to meet the designated requirements
  • Current CNA certification in the state of applicable state
  • BCLS certified
