About The Position

Alvita Care is seeking Certified Nursing Assistant CNAs (Per Diem) for private duty cases in New Haven to Hartford County in CT. This role offers flexible hours with part-time and per diem schedule options, including 6, 8, or 12-hour shifts, with both day and night shifts available. Availability on weekdays is preferred, but weekend availability is a plus. Experience in memory care, palliative care, ADL assistance, and transfers is beneficial.

Requirements

• Valid CNA certificate in the state of Connecticut.
• Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of relevant CNA experience.
• Updated medicals/vaccinations or willingness to obtain.
• Completed drug screen or completed Habituation Form.
• Must successfully complete Alvita Care process to accept cases.
• Must successfully complete phone screening to determine compatibility and availability.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, assisted living, or healthcare settings.
• Experience in memory care.
• Experience in palliative care.
• Experience with ADL assistance.
• Experience with transfers.
• M-F availability.
• Weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Provide private duty nursing care to clients in New Haven to Hartford County, CT.
• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADL).
• Provide care during day and night shifts, with flexible scheduling options.
• Work weekday shifts and/or weekends as needed.
