About The Position
Luther Park Community, a non-profit organization established in 1914, provides comprehensive services for seniors in Des Moines, Iowa. The Trinity Center, a 120-bed Health Center specializing in Alzheimer's care, is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for the 2p-6a shift, working every other weekend. This role involves caring for residents with Alzheimer's and requires effective communication, teamwork, and basic computer skills.
Requirements
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license.
- Ability to effectively communicate and work with a variety of individuals.
- Basic computer skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend English fluently.
- Satisfactory completion of the 75-hour nursing assistant course.
- Current certification on the Iowa Nurse Aide Registry through the Department of Inspection and Appeals.
- Current year's flu vaccination.
