Interim Healthcare of Chatsworth is seeking an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant to join their team at a respected sub-acute facility in North Hollywood. This role involves providing specialized care to both adult and pediatric patients in a supportive environment. Requirements
- High school diploma (or equivalent) and active Nursing Assistant License in California
- Minimum of 6 months CNA experience in a Sub-Acute facility required
- BLS, Fire card, TB test (within 1 year), Pre - Employment physical
- Per California state mandate, the COVID 19 vaccine is required for this position
- Must be able to speak, read, write and comprehend the English language
- Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations
- Compassionate nature, good communication and ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Nice To Haves
- Pediatric experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Care for the personal care and hygiene needs of patient
- Work with a team of RNs, LVNs and Respiratory Therapists to deliver excellent patient care
- Help with daily needs such as bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, eating and nutritional intake
- Assist with ambulation, transfers and range of motion exercises
- Check vitals and document any change of condition
