The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) role on the Cardiac / Telemetry unit is a full-time position. The CNA is responsible for providing direct patient care, including personal hygiene, feeding assistance, ambulation, turning, positioning, and ensuring patient comfort. They also assist with treatments, specimen collection, and maintaining a safe and clean environment. The CNA reports patient conditions to the assigned nurse, measures intake and output, and records vital signs. This role adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.
