Requirements
- Wisconsin Registered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
- Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers from American Heart Association or American Red Cross (required)
- Commitment to regular and predictable attendance when scheduled
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Responsibilities
- Assist with basic care for patients including nutrition, elimination, comfort, mobility, and safety
- Transport and transfer patients using appropriate equipment and safety precautions
- Assist nursing staff with lifting and ambulating patients following practice guidelines
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to communicate and document accurate information
- Demonstrate dependability, organizational skills, and effective time management
- Attend CNA and unit staff meetings
- Personally interact, engage with, and care for patients ensuring their safety
