About The Position
Centurion is seeking a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant to join their team at the Riverbend Maximum Security Institution in Nashville, Tennessee. The Certified Nursing Assistant will work under the direction of nursing, medical, and psychiatric staff to provide direct patient care to incarcerated individuals. This role involves assisting patients with personal hygiene, daily living needs, and vital sign monitoring.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Tennessee Certification as a Nursing Assistant
- Current tuberculosis documentation
- Active CPR certification required
- Ability to pass a background investigation and obtain security clearance required
Nice To Haves
- One year experience in acute care, long term care, emergency, or correctional setting preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform direct patient care to incarcerated individuals under the direction of nursing, medical, and psychiatric staff.
- Assist patients with personal hygiene.
- Assist patients with daily living needs.
- Monitor patient vital signs.
