Gail’s Homecare is a non-medical, in-home care provider based in Lithonia, Georgia. Our services are available throughout Clayton, Cobb, DeKalb, Douglas, Fayette, Fulton, Gwinnett, Henry, Jackson, and Rockdale Counties. We are currently seeking a compassionate, reliable, and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our growing homecare team.

Requirements

Active CNA License/Certification
Current CPR/BLS certification required
High School Diploma or GED required
Full-time professional healthcare experience required; 3–5 years preferred.
Home healthcare or in-home care experience strongly preferred.
Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
Warm, compassionate, and patient personality.
Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations.
Ability to work closely with supervisors and follow care instructions.
Ability to assist with client transfers, mobility, and physical tasks.
Willingness to perform personal care, domestic, and housekeeping tasks as requested and appropriate.
Commitment to treating clients with dignity, respect, and compassion.
Willingness to comply with all applicable legal, regulatory, and agency requirements.
Driver’s License, State-Issued ID, or other valid government-issued identification
Current CPR/BLS Card
TB Test Results/Documentation
Social Security Card
Vaccination/Immunization Record, as applicable
Existing Fingerprinting/Background Check

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care and assistance to clients in their homes.
Assist clients with activities of daily living and personal care needs.
Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for clients.
Assist with mobility, transfers, and other physical care needs as appropriate.
Perform light housekeeping and domestic tasks related to client care.
Observe and report changes in the client’s condition or needs.
Accurately document client care and progress.
Communicate professionally and effectively with clients, families, and the care team.
Protect each client’s dignity, privacy, and confidentiality.
Follow all agency policies, care instructions, and applicable regulations.
