About The Position

Heritage House is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join their team. This role involves assisting residents with daily living activities, providing emotional support, monitoring health, facilitating participation in activities, ensuring a safe environment, and communicating effectively with residents, families, and the healthcare team. Multiple shifts are available.

Requirements

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification.
• Ability to assist residents with daily living activities.
• Ability to provide emotional support and companionship.
• Ability to conduct routine health monitoring and administer medications.
• Ability to facilitate resident participation in activities.
• Knowledge of infection control protocols.
• Effective communication skills.
• Must complete a pre-hire health assessment and 4 panel drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meals.
• Provide emotional support and companionship, fostering a positive and engaging environment.
• Conduct routine health monitoring, such as checking vital signs and administering medications.
• Facilitate resident participation in recreational and therapeutic activities.
• Ensure a clean and safe environment by adhering to infection control protocols.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care.
