The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides supportive services to nurses and other staff as needed, performing assigned duties. This role involves assisting residents with or performing activities of daily living in accordance with care plans and facility policies. Responsibilities include assisting with resident mobility, coordinating dining services, delivering nutritional supplements, assisting with resident weighing, tracking skin condition, and supporting toileting programs. The CNA is responsible for completing flow sheets, documenting resident progress, and communicating any factors that interfere with assigned work, as well as reporting changes in resident condition to the nurse and supervisor.
