About The Position

Certified Nursing Assistants at Avalon Village play a vital role in fostering a warm, supportive, and homelike environment where residents’ well-being is prioritized. The CNA assists residents with activities of daily living, provides companionship and reassurance, and supports dignity, respect, and individualized attention. CNAs collaborate with nursing and other facility teams to provide coordinated, comprehensive care and demonstrate the C.A.R.E. values of Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence.

Requirements

• Valid and current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Indiana.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and assisting with resident mobility.
• Stamina, strength, and endurance to provide nursing services.
• Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
• Supportive presence and ability to create a comforting and engaging atmosphere.
• Ability to collaborate and work as part of a team toward excellent resident care.
• Interpersonal communication skills that support a respectful and positive work environment.
• Demonstrate Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence.
