About The Position

The Certified Nursing Assistant assists in patient care throughout nursing areas. The role is responsible for safely transporting patients by wheelchair or stretcher, providing dispatch services, and appropriately documenting services. The CNA observes patients on a patient care unit who have been assessed as requiring constant observation to maximize their safety. The position also performs general receptionist and clerical duties to support the efficient functioning of the nursing unit.

Requirements

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant licensure from the Territory of Guam.
• Healthcare Provider BLS Certification.
• Ability to communicate effectively and document information accurately.
• Ability to deal efficiently and effectively with a wide variety of individuals.
• Ability to move or lift patients and equipment.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant.

Nice To Haves

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge preferred.
• Previous hospital or nursing home experience preferred.
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology preferred.
