About The Position

Eventide Fargo Care Center is seeking Full-Time Evening Shift (2PM-10:30PM) Certified Nursing Assistants (C.N.A) to work 64 hours per pay period. This role involves assisting residents with their physical, mental, spiritual, psychological, and social needs, ensuring their wellbeing is maintained or improved. The CNA will follow established nursing care procedures under the guidance of a supervisor and is expected to provide individualized attention, adhering to each resident's care plan.

Requirements

• Current North Dakota Certified Nursing Assistant license

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized attention to residents to help them maintain or attain the highest practical physical, mental, and psychosocial wellbeing.
• Carry out and follow the assigned resident care plan at all times.
• Attend to the individual needs of residents, including assistance with grooming, bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, incontinent care, toileting, transferring, ambulation, and range of motion exercises.
• Maintain the comfort, privacy, and dignity of each resident.
• Interact with residents with warmth and compassion.
• Follow policies and procedures regarding safety of residents, others, property, and self.
• Comply with rules and regulations set forth by the North Dakota Department of Health and the Center for Medicare/Medicaid services.
• Understand all aspects of residents’ rights, including the right to be free of restraints, abuse and neglect.
• Promptly report any incidents or evidence of abuse, neglect, or violation of residents’ rights per policy.
• Assist in maintaining a safe, neat, and clean environment.
• Promptly answer residents’ call lights and alarms.
• Perform tasks such as checking vital signs, residents’ weights, and applying lotions.
• Lift, move, and transport residents using appropriate equipment (gait belt, one-person transfer, two-person transfer, Hoyer lift, standing lift, etc.) as identified by the care plan.
• Assist and escort residents for appointments and activities, as needed.
• Document and record care provided and other pertinent information.
• Follow proper safety and infection control procedures (hand washing, use of gloves, disposal of soiled materials, etc.).
• Assist with resident personal laundry as needed.
