About The Position
We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team in a Long-Term Care setting. This is a contract/travel position located in Hart, MI. The role involves providing direct personal care assistance to residents, monitoring their health, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure a safe and supportive environment. The position requires an active STNA certification and at least 1 year of experience in long-term care.
Requirements
- Active STNA certification in Hart
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a long-term care setting preferred
- CPR certification
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance to residents (bathing, dressing, grooming, etc.)
- Monitor and report changes in residents' health or behavior
- Assist with meals, mobility, and toileting
- Maintain a safe, clean environment in accordance with facility standards
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare team members
- Document care provided in electronic medical records
