About The Position

The Certified Nursing Assistant is specifically trained and competent to perform assigned personal-care functions for patients in their residence under the direction, instruction, and supervision of a registered nurse (RN). The role supports patient advocacy, evidence-based clinical practices, holistic care, continuity of care, and nurturing surroundings.

Requirements

• CNA license certification is required prior to hiring.
• Must have a current CPR certification and fingerprint clearance card.

Nice To Haves

• A minimum of six months of CNA/LNA experience is preferred.
• Recent long-term care, skilled nursing facility, or transitional rehabilitation experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests and patients during admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Check guests and patients routinely to ensure their personal-care needs are being met in accordance with their wishes and care plans.
• Review care plans daily to determine whether changes have been made to the guest's or patient's daily care routine.
