About The Position
Beacon Brook Center for Health & Rehabilitation, an affiliate of National Health Care Associates, is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate, personalized care to residents. The role supports residents with activities of daily living, monitors their health, provides emotional support, and collaborates with healthcare professionals to help ensure high-quality care. The position is offered part-time and per diem, across all shifts, at 89 Wied Drive, Naugatuck, Connecticut 06770.
Requirements
- Valid state certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA).
- Compassionate and empathetic nature.
- Interest in the nursing needs of aged and chronically ill people, with the ability to work with both.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Dedication to upholding high standards of care.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
- Assist residents with mobility and transfers.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to develop care plans.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
