About The Position
Lakeview Health Center & Assisted Living is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join their team. The role involves providing compassionate care to residents with dignity, respect, and a person-centered approach. This position is for the PM Shift, working 72 hours per two-week pay period, and is benefit-eligible.
Requirements
- Current Wisconsin CNA certification and listing on the Nurse Aide Registry
- At least 16 years of age
- Ability to follow written and verbal directions
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to person-centered care, integrity, and professionalism
- Ability to meet physical requirements including lifting, walking, and use of mechanical lifts
- Valid driver’s license (for those transporting residents)
- Successful completion of Wisconsin Caregiver background check
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with personal hygiene, daily living activities, and room care
- Support residents during mealtimes and follow individual diet guidelines
- Observe and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff
- Take vital signs, weights, and provide basic skin care
- Document care provided and follow individualized care plans
- Promote resident independence, safety, and comfort
- Participate in restorative care programs, ambulation, and transfers
- Maintain a clean, safe environment and uphold residents’ rights
- Attend required in-service trainings and maintain CNA certification
