About The Position

BAYADA Home Health Care has an immediate need for a Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA to care for our clients. We are looking for someone dependable and consistent to help these families. As a member of our home care team, you will be valued, respected, and heard. Cases are $17/hr. Locust CNA client open: M-F from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and Sat and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Albemarle client needing backup M-F. Seeking a compassionate caregiver to provide in-home support to a male client. Responsibilities may include personal care, bathing, dressing, mobility assistance, companionship, and other activities of daily living. The ideal candidate will be comfortable providing hands-on personal care and working independently in the client's home.

Requirements

• Current license listed in good standing with the board

Responsibilities

• Activities of daily living
• Light housekeeping
• Bathing
• Dressing
• Grooming
• Toileting
• Nail care
• Range of motion / exercises
• Transfers /use of mechanical lifting devices
• Oral feeding
• Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
• Home Management Tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making etc.
• Assisting with ambulation
• Medication assistance
