About The Position

Manage a patient assignment on an assigned patient care unit at the NIH Clinical Center, providing direct support to patients under the direction of the nursing team. Selected candidates will complete training on the facility’s Patient Care Technician competencies and Crisis Prevention Training. This is a 13-week position with possible extension, requiring 36 hours per week. It involves a day/night rotation, with required orientation on the day shift during the week. This is a W-2 position with an hourly pay rate of $23 - $25.

Requirements

• Completion of a course of education leading to, and possession of, certification as a nurse assistant.
• Current CNA certification.
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum two (2) years of experience in an acute care hospital.
