About The Position

Heritage House is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join their team. In this role, you will assist residents with daily living activities, provide emotional support, monitor health, facilitate participation in activities, ensure a clean and safe environment, and communicate effectively with residents, families, and the healthcare team. This position offers 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts.

Requirements

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
• Ability to assist residents with daily living activities
• Ability to conduct routine health monitoring
• Ability to facilitate resident participation in activities
• Ability to ensure a clean and safe environment
• Effective communication skills

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meals.
• Provide emotional support and companionship, fostering a positive and engaging environment.
• Conduct routine health monitoring, such as checking vital signs and administering medications.
• Facilitate resident participation in recreational and therapeutic activities.
• Ensure a clean and safe environment by adhering to infection control protocols.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care.
