About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our healthcare team. Requirements

  • Valid certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) from an accredited program.
  • Experience working in diverse healthcare environments such as hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or outpatient clinics.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic life support procedures.
  • Ability to perform catheter care when required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work compassionately with patients of all ages and backgrounds, including those with disabilities or developmental delays.
  • Demonstrated understanding of HIPAA compliance and confidentiality standards essential for medical documentation and patient service excellence.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems like Point Click Care is preferred but not required.
  • Prior experience with specialized care areas including hospice, infectious disease management, geriatric care is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and dignity.
  • Monitor and record vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature accurately using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Provide specialized care for patients with conditions such as Alzheimer's disease, dementia, or memory impairments in memory.
  • Operate patient lifts such as Hoyer lifts safely to assist with transfers while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Maintain a clean, safe environment by following infection control protocols and sanitation guidelines in compliance with Level I Trauma Center standards or other specialized settings.
  • Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, therapists, and social workers to deliver comprehensive patient-centered care.
