About The Position

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) | Skilled Nursing | Brendan House | PRN Location: Brendan House Skilled Nursing Shift: Days Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 36 hours/week. At Logan Health Brendan House, our Skilled Nursing team is committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a supportive and compassionate environment. We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support residents with daily care needs, promote comfort and safety, and assist the care team in delivering exceptional service.

Requirements

• Current Montana Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certificate.
• Current CPR certification as applicable to assigned area.
• Must possess an understanding of confidentiality laws that govern the provider-patient relationship, including but not limited to HIPAA guidelines.

Nice To Haves

• Previous work experience in a healthcare setting.
• Home Health Aide certification preferred or must successfully obtain within six (6) months of hire, if applicable to assigned area.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with various audiences.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to set priorities.
• Ability to function both independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and supporting a team-focused environment.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite and learn other software systems as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the delivery of basic resident care under the guidance and direction of assigned leadership.
• Support residents with activities of daily living.
• Obtain and report vital signs.
• Document care accurately.
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment.
• Communicate with nursing leadership and appropriate team members to help coordinate resident care priorities, report changes in condition, and support daily department operations.
• Assist with restocking supplies, maintaining equipment cleanliness and safety, and supporting compliance with Medicare and applicable regulatory standards.
