About The Position

We are seeking compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide home care for clients in Downtown Chicago and surrounding communities. This role focuses on weekend shifts, offering flexible scheduling options. As a CNA, you will provide direct care, support client mobility, and ensure their well-being and comfort. Requirements

Minimum 1 year of healthcare hands on experience (home care or facility)
Proficient with Hoyer Lift, Gait Belt, and Sit-to-Stand transfers and willing to provide in home setting
Completion of a state-approved Nursing Assistant program
Active CNA certification in good standing (Illinois)
CPR certification (required)
Negative TB test or chest X-ray
Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license (if applicable)
Ability to communicate effectively in English
Empathetic, dependable, and team-oriented

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care as directed by the nursing supervisor and the client’s care plan
Assist with personal care needs such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
Take and record vital signs accurately
Support mobility and transfers using Hoyer Lift, Gait Belt, Sit-to-Stand, and other transfer equipment
Provide specialized care for clients with G-tubes, tracheostomies, and ventilators (training or experience required)
Assist with feeding, meal prep, and light housekeeping
Provide companionship and emotional support
Transport clients to appointments and community activities, when needed
