Build meaningful connections with residents while observing and reporting changes in their physical, emotional, or cognitive well-being and supporting the nursing team with accurate documentation. Help residents stay active, comfortable, and independent by assisting with transfers, repositioning, ambulation, and mobility equipment while promoting safety and fall prevention. Create positive experiences for residents by encouraging participation in recreational, social, and therapeutic activities that promote connection, independence, and quality of life. Be a trusted and caring presence throughout the shift by responding to residents' needs, answering call lights promptly, and helping maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe environment.

Requirements

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing with the MA state registry.
Ability to communicate fluently in English – both verbally and written.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on support with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, meals, and other activities of daily living (ADLs).
Observe and report changes in residents' physical, emotional, or cognitive well-being.
Support the nursing team with accurate documentation.
Assist with transfers, repositioning, ambulation, and mobility equipment.
Promote safety and fall prevention.
Encourage participation in recreational, social, and therapeutic activities.
Respond to residents' needs and answer call lights promptly.
Help maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe environment.
