About The Position
Generations at Applewood in Matteson, IL is seeking CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANTS (CNAs) to work the following 8 hour shifts: Part-Time Evenings (3p-11p) and Every other Both Weekend Days (7-3p Saturday and Sunday). Generations at Applewood is a State-of-the-Art, 24-hour rehabilitation and skilled nursing community offering quality healthcare services to residents throughout the Chicagoland area. We recently opened a Complex Care Respiratory Unit.
Requirements
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification from the State of Illinois - NO WAIVERS ACCEPTED
- At least 2 years experience as a CNA
- Must be 18 years of age
- Up-to-date flu vaccination receipt or bone fide religious or medical exemption
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- CPR Certified
- Knowledge of JCAHO, OBRA, IDPH and HFS regulations as related to job duties
- Able to read, write and speak English
- Compassion, tolerance and understanding of older adults
- Professionalism and a positive attitude
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents.
- Assist residents with daily living activities.
- Monitor resident vital signs and report changes.
- Ensure resident safety and comfort.
- Maintain resident records and documentation.
- Adhere to facility policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
Benefits
- $19 - 22 per hour depending on status and benefits selected
- $2 Shift Differential for Evenings
