About The Position
Under general supervision, the Certified Nursing Assistant performs assigned direct care activities and basic nursing procedures in a nursing facility or home health care setting. This position is with the Camellia skilled nursing facility at the Gracewood Campus of East Central Regional Hospital, part of the Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities. The position is designated for the night shift. Compensation is $36,608.00–$40,144.00. Employment may require drug screening, a TB evaluation, and annual influenza vaccination. Limited vaccination exemptions may be available for documented medical contraindications or qualifying religious beliefs. A national and state background check is required as a condition of employment. Applicants must hold current, applicable credentials that enable practice in Georgia.
Requirements
- Must be certified as a Nursing Assistant.
- One year of experience at the lower-level Nursing Assistant 1 (HCS050) or an equivalent position is required.
- A national and state background check is required as a condition of employment.
- May be required to complete drug screening and a TB evaluation and receive annual influenza vaccination; limited exemptions may apply for documented medical contraindications or qualifying religious beliefs.
- Any required licenses must be current and enable practice in the State of Georgia.
