About The Position
Baptist Medical Center is looking to add a Certified Nursing Assistant in our Progressive Care Unit at Baptist South in Jacksonville, FL. This is a Full-Time Nights opportunity working 36 hours per week, 7:00pm-7:00am. The Certified Nursing Assistant will be responsible for assisting the Registered Nurse (RN) with the care of patients who have healthcare needs. Baptist South is serving the rapidly growing neighborhoods in southern Duval and northern St. Johns counties. The hospital blends resort-like amenities with the most advanced medical care, providing for the physical, spiritual and emotional needs of patients and their families.
Requirements
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
- Licensed Certified Nursing Assistant Required
Nice To Haves
- High School Diploma/GED Preferred
Responsibilities
- Assisting the Registered Nurse (RN) with the care of patients who have healthcare needs
- Patient activities of daily living
- Maintaining a safe environment for patients
- Collecting lab specimens
- Intake and output monitoring
- Electronic medical record (EMR) documentation
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
