About The Position
Generations at Applewood in Matteson, IL is seeking CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANTS (CNAs) with at least 2 years of experience working in a skilled nursing facility to work specific 8-hour shifts. Generations at Applewood is a State-of-the-Art, 24-hour rehabilitation and skilled nursing community offering quality healthcare services to residents throughout the Chicagoland area. They have recently opened a Complex Care Respiratory Unit.
Requirements
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification from the State of Illinois - NO WAIVERS ACCEPTED
- At least 2 years of experience as a CNA
- Must be 18 years of age
- Up-to-date flu vaccination receipt or bone fide religious or medical exemption
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- CPR Certified
- Knowledge of JCAHO, OBRA, IDPH and HFS regulations as related to job duties
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
- Must have compassion, tolerance and understanding of older adults
- Must conduct themselves with professionalism, and have a positive attitude
Responsibilities
- Provide care for residents in a skilled nursing facility.
- Work specific 8-hour shifts, including every other weekend.
- Administer care in a 24-hour rehabilitation and skilled nursing community.
- Work in a Complex Care Respiratory Unit.
