About The Position

Ennoble Care is seeking a compassionate, dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), full time, to join their growing Hospice Company for their McLean, VA region. The caregiver (CNA) will be responsible for caring for a census of 5-6 patients. This role involves providing or assisting with activities of daily living (ADL), personal hygiene, grooming, mouth, skin care, and nails. The CNA will also assist with toileting, positioning, transfer activities, and frequent turning and positioning of bed-bound residents/patients. Additionally, the role includes assisting with prescribed exercises and Range of Motion (ROM) activities, light housekeeping of the patient's personal unit or room, changing bed linen, and patient's laundry. The CNA will also feed and assist with meals and report any changes in the resident's/patient's condition to the Nurse.

Requirements

• Must have a valid Virginia CNA license
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable mode of transportation
• Authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Care for census of 5-6 patients
• Provides or assists in ADL activities; personal hygiene, grooming, mouth, skin care and nails.
• Provides assistance in toileting, positioning and transfer activities, frequent turning and positioning of a bed bound resident/patient.
• Assists with the prescribed exercise and ROM activities which the resident/patient and Hospice aide have been taught by the Hospice Nurse.
• Assists with light housekeeping of individual's personal unit or room, including changing of bed linen and patient’s laundry.
• Feeds and assists with meals.
• Reports any changes in resident's/patient's condition to the Nurse
