About The Position

Covenant Living, a large nonprofit senior living provider, is seeking qualified Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join their team. The position involves providing direct resident care, assisting with activities, light housekeeping, laundry, and dining services, all while adhering to established procedures and daily assignments.

Requirements

High School diploma or the equivalent.
Completion and passing the test for an approved Nursing Assistant program in the State.
Listed on the State’s Health Nursing Assistant Registry.

Responsibilities

Provides direct care to residents on a daily basis.
Assists with activities, light housekeeping, laundry, and dining services.
Assists residents with basic personal care including bathing, dressing, dental hygiene, toilet activities, grooming, feeding, and transportation/transfer.
Maintains resident rooms in a clean and orderly manner by providing light housekeeping, changing linen, making beds, putting away clothing and personal effects, and tidying bedside table, shelves, closets, and cleaning bathrooms.
Assists with resident laundry, ensuring clothes are marked, clean, mended, ironed, and put away.
Prepares residents for meals, assists with serving meals, and feeding of residents.
May be cross-trained in Assisted Living.
