About The Position

Vibra Healthcare is seeking CNAs to join their team for a Full Time Night Shift position. This role involves providing direct patient care in a long-term acute care hospital setting. The hospital specializes in treating patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries, including trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation, and ventilator weaning. The environment is described as fast-paced and friendly, offering an opportunity to build close relationships with patients and their families.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current, valid, and active certification to practice as a Nursing Assistant as applicable in the state of employment required.
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required.

Nice To Haves

• Two (2) years of experience as a Nurse Aide or other relevant experience in lieu of education will be considered.
• Acute care/LTAC experience preferred.
• Ability to project a professional image.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
• Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance to licensed nursing personnel in the provision of patient care.
• Provides and documents activities of daily living, including personal hygiene and grooming.
• Maintains a clean, healthy, and safe environment.
• Utilizes basic infection control procedures.
• Performs basic nutrition and fluid intake skills.
• Recognizes emergency situations and responds appropriately.
