About The Position

A Faith-Based, Nonprofit, Short-Term Rehabilitation and Skilled Geriatric Care facility sponsored by the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm, we've served the community since 1964. We are a place of life, a place of caring, and more importantly, a true home for our residents. We are seeking to fill the position of CNA – Certified Nursing Assistant.

Requirements

• IL CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant Certification (active on the Health Care Worker Registry).
• CPR certified.
• Experience in promoting and facilitating teamwork.

Nice To Haves

• SNF and LTC experience preferred.
• Point Click Care (PCC) experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer signal lights and bells to determine resident needs.
• Assist residents with grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair and incontinence care.
• Assist residents at meal time.
• Assist resident with range of motion exercises.
• Provide for personal care and comfort.
• Assist with movement to wheelchair or activity areas.
• Provide direct and indirect resident care services.
• Meet the communication needs of resident and family.
• Communicate changes in residents’ clinical condition.
