Requirements
- Current CNA certification listed on the Iowa Nurse Aide Registry, or active certification from another state eligible for transfer
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Willingness to work rotating weekends and occasional holidays
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience supporting older adults in a healthcare or long-term care environment
- Strong communication skills when interacting with residents and family members
Responsibilities
- Assisting with personal care needs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meals
- Following and supporting individualized care plans
- Encouraging resident engagement through activities and social interaction
- Promoting comfort, dignity, and independence
- Communicating changes in resident condition to the nursing team
